General practice care for all ages, from same-day appointments to ongoing care plans.
Our GP Services
Whatever brings you in, a standard consultation is where it starts. Our GPs see patients of all ages across the full breadth of general practice:
Routine check-ups and preventive care
Skin checks and minor skin procedures
Chronic condition care plans (GPCCMP)
Travel Advice & Vaccinations
Mental health care plans
Work Cover, driving, insurance and pre-employment medicals
Children's health, from birth through adolescence
Spirometry, ECG, iron infusions, ear syringe and suction
Women's health and men's health
Fracture management
On-the-spot pathology collection is available onsite, so most tests do not require visiting a separate collection centre.
When to visit
Not every health concern announces itself loudly. Severe chest pain, sudden weakness or drooping in the face, slurred speech or serious trouble breathing are ambulance territory: call 000 rather than booking an appointment. Most of what a GP catches early looks far more ordinary than that.
Symptoms
A cough that has hung around beyond three weeks. A mole or skin spot that has changed shape or colour. Unexplained weight loss, unusual tiredness that rest does not fix, a change in bowel habits, or a low mood that has lasted more than a couple of weeks. None of these means something is wrong, and that is the point of the appointment: a GP can rule things out early, when the options are widest. If a symptom is persistent, getting worse, or simply unusual for you, it deserves a look.
Check-ups
Some of the most valuable GP visits happen when nothing feels wrong. Medicare supports specific preventive checks at different life stages, including a heart health check and a health assessment for people aged 45 to 49 at risk of chronic disease, and cervical and bowel screening run on their own schedules. Your GP can tell you which of these are due for you, so screening happens on time rather than when a symptom forces it.

Collection happens at the practice, not at a separate centre.
Same-day appointments are available; HotDoc shows the day's open times.

New Patients
New patients of all ages are welcome. Consultations are available in English, Hindi, Sinhalese and Urdu with Dr Afraz Ghafoor, and if you are transferring from another practice, let reception know so your medical records can follow you across.
Book Online through HotDoc, or call (07) 3069 6455.
Please bring your Medicare card, a list of any current medications, and referral letters or test results if you have them.
Your GP works through your concern and agrees the next steps with you.
Where ongoing care is needed, your GP can set up a care plan and coordinate any referrals.
